Not checking the licence
A licence name in the footer is not enough. Click it or copy the number and look it up on the regulator's own register. If the casino is not listed, or the link goes nowhere, do not deposit. Casinos licensed abroad are not supervised in Rwanda, so the foreign licence is your only route for a complaint.
Not reading the terms
Withdrawal limits, inactivity fees, ID requirements and bonus rules all sit in the terms. Read the parts on withdrawals and bonuses at least. Our guide to terms and conditions shows where to look.
Misreading the bonus
A 200% match with 40x wagering on deposit plus bonus can mean betting 120 times your deposit. On a RWF 10,000 deposit that is RWF 1,200,000 of bets. Work out the total before you claim.
Poor bankroll control
- Depositing again straight after a loss.
- Raising stakes to recover losses quickly.
- Playing with money meant for rent, school or family.
- Keeping large balances in the casino instead of withdrawing.
Ignoring RTP and volatility
Two slots can look alike while one returns 96.5% and the other 94%. High volatility slots can go hundreds of spins without a meaningful win. Check the game's information screen, as our RTP guide explains.
Skipping responsible gaming and support
Set limits on the first day and save the support contact details. When something goes wrong, a written chat record is far more useful than a memory of a call.
