The bonus types a beginner will meet
| Bonus | How it works | Good for a beginner? |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome match | The casino adds a percentage of your first deposit as bonus money | Only with low wagering and a long deadline |
| Free spins | A set number of spins on chosen slots, winnings usually wagered | Yes, the cost is limited |
| No deposit bonus | Spins or a small credit for registering | Yes, as a test of the casino, not as income |
| Cashback | A share of net losses returned, ideally as cash | Yes, when paid without wagering |
| Refer a friend | A reward when someone you invite deposits | Neutral; check the conditions for both of you |
Why a big match can be the wrong choice
While a match bonus is active, your own deposit usually counts as part of the bonus balance. If you want to stop and withdraw early, you may have to give up the bonus and any winnings made with it.
Take a RWF 20,000 deposit with a 100% match. At 35x on the bonus you must bet RWF 700,000. On slots returning 96%, that betting costs about RWF 28,000 on average, more than the bonus itself. The bonus still gives you longer play, but it is not free money.
Terms to read first
- Wagering multiple and whether it applies to the bonus only or to deposit plus bonus.
- Maximum bet while the bonus is active. Going over it, even once, can void the bonus.
- Games that count: slots usually 100%, table games often 10% or nothing.
- Deadline for the wagering, often 7 to 30 days.
- Payment methods that do not qualify, which sometimes include e-wallets.

Paying in from Rwanda
Check that the deposit method you plan to use qualifies for the offer and that the casino can pay you back the same way. A bonus is little use if your winnings can only leave through a method you do not have.
